Wonder Book
This year room 14 have been reading a book called wonder . The book was about this boy called August and how his life is really bad because his face doesn't look like any body else .There is this boy who is called Julian he likes bully August but August is friend Jack stands up to him . August's sister name is is Via .Via has a boyfriend named Justin .Mr Tushman is August's Principle ,he is the principle of Beecher prep .Amos and Miles is also August's is friend to .I recommend that you read this book because in this book you learn to not judge a boy/girl by his face .My favourite part of the book was when August got an award and he was treated normal .

A letter to Snow White

On the twelve of June we read snow white. Then we had to write a letter to her as advice
I chose to be her dad, hope you like it.

Dear: Snow White

Hi snow white it’s me your father I just want to say something's about your book, why did you walk into a stranger's house? without them knowing and why did you talk to strangers. You know me and your mother taught you better than this you should know better. Why did you eat the strangers poison apple and When you fell down I was shattered so well the stranger was running I struck lightning at the edge of the cliff so she could fall down . Me and your mother just miss you, that's why we are writing this letter to you. Why did you go with that prince, he just came and kissed you without you knowing and if he hurts my little girl I’ll come down there and haunt him, forever. Here's some advice don't talk to strangers, don't eat what ever a stranger provides and be safe. That’s all I wanted to say, we wish you the best in all your life with your prince and remember what I said,goodbye now, we love you.

Samoan Language week

On Samoan language week we were celebrating in our school hall.

The first thing we did was staring off with a pray in Samoan.

Then room nine did their performance I thought 

it was cool. They dance to a song about the lord.

Soon it was the girls dance they did a Siva 

it was very entertaining .

After we did our Samoan Haka I was nervous 

But I did it anyway. It was loud and fun.

Then we finished with a Samoan song . To end our Samoan  assembly 

Speech Recondition

Today we're doing speech recondition and it was challenging because the laptop couldn't access some of the words that we said and the most challenging thing was it couldn't access our names but that's OK because
I already know how to spell my own name.

Jump Rope for Heart

The first thing we did was self skipping in our groups.

Then we rotated and did peer skipping.

Then when we get tired we get to rest or play with the hula hoops and hops scoches.

We also did was relays and double douches.

 lastly we had to see who could do the most skips,and mine was 71.

Tennis

This term we were doing tennis. We learned 

how to do our forehand grip,the forehand grip was hard but we got use to it.

We were learning how to hit the ball in the centre

of the racket which is also called the sweet spot.

The other thing we did was throwing the ball at each other and

catching it at our hitting zone. The hitting zone is also known as our waist 

The other thing we did was hitting the ball on the ground in our sweet spot of our racket.

The last thing we learned was rallies. Rallies are two people on each side and by
hitting the ball across the net to each other.
